Barney is responsible for developing partnerships and events with clients. Barney has worked in the events industry for 13 years, beginning his career running his own events company in the music industry before moving into public policy conferences. He has delivered events for a range of clients including most of the government departments – BIS, DCLG, DCMS, DCSF, HM Treasury, DfT, Cabinet Office – as well as other bodies and trade associations such as London 2012, Liverpool 2008, Design Council, Arts Council, British Chambers of Commerce, Better Regulation Executive, Social Exclusion Unit, National Youth Agency, and many more. Before joining Haymarket he spent some time developing the commercialisation strategy for a Sector Skills Council.

As the Conference Director, Elvira currently oversees Haymarket Events conferences, forums, exhibitions and managed events departments. Her expertise covers a range of B2B event formats including corporate functions training courses, summits, large scale events and conferences, both in the commercial conferencing and publishing sector. She has previously held General Manager, Head of Production and Head of Conference department positions at Marcus Evans, IQPC, C5 and Jordan Publishing as well as freelance consulting on areas such as portfolio turnaround and auditing and event growth strategy. In addition to overseeing and managing the P&L of events run in the US, Canada, Caribbean, UK and Central Europe, she has particular expertise in the legal sector as well as experience in other industries including Oil and Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Finance, Housing, Employment and Insolvency.

As the queen of Awards, Helen is responsible for designing, organising, supervising and executing all our clients' Award events and runs a team of event managers producing over 30 prestigious Award events every year. Since joining haymarket events in 1997, she has launched our successful Forums formats and ensures the quality of events overseas is the same as our UK products. Before haymarket events she worked in the hospitality industry with her experience being gained primarily within the field of motor sport. Helen is a planner, logistician and organiser of the highest calibre, with deep understanding of production and technical needs; she will ensure the seamless organisation of an elegant awards dinner, ceremony and processes to excellent delivery.

Alex founded and continues to head up the Online Events and Video department within Haymarket Business Media. The department is responsible for creating a range of online content from webcasts through to online videos, conference footage and websites across many different sectors and has grown at a rate of 300% per annum for the last 3 years. At the core of what Alex's team do is the desire to ensure that as well as been technically produced to the highest standards, their products also create real audience engagement.

Carla ensures that events run like clockwork on the day, as a result of smooth and established processes. Carla has over 12 years experience in managing events and she and her team do everything from supplier negotiation and liaison to ensuring exceptional levels of delegate care. They work with a range of clients on various event formats including seminars, residential conferences and large summits for over 1000 attendees in both the private and public sectors.
